as far as duct tape goes I would recommend good ol' DUCK brand or you could use foil tape which is designed for this sort of thing, they are about the same price. your plant is looking great dude, but I think you should get a can of spray adhesive and tack down that mylar, you could accumulate moisture behind which could lead to mold. I was lazy and let it happen once- the mold spread to my soil and killed part of the root system effectively killing my plant.
