Do you guys in the USA ever use the Sun Master Dual Spectrum bulbs? By looking on the hortilux site, I can see they have an HPS at 30,500 lumens, but my SunMaster dual spectrum bulb throws out 33,000 lumens... I was wondering mainly because I had to check out the bulbs, those comparison pics...

Yeah a 250hps produces very little heat to be honest mate, I grow with one and yes if the plants get too close obviously, but using common sense and light spectrum charts, the heat wont be an issue at all really. Still, the T5's are interesting as well, maybe see what some more experienced...

The HPS dual spectrum bulbs cover both though, for a budget "does all wonder," this covers the bases better? You can veg half decently with it then flower with it, thats better than the MH which yes, will do an excellent job in veg but when it comes to flowering loses out large in comparison...

how about 250w HPS? would be better than a MH for the flower stage and also do a decent enough veg stage compared to both the above? get the dual spectrum bulb.

i thought this was common knowledge? I knew this from day1 when I bought my kit i could put a 250 mh into my 250 lighting kit.... same connection. same wattage. good news for anyone that didn't know but seriously, I thought this was common knowledge. no offence intended etc though mate.

christ knows meant to be done in 23 days or so. hmmmmm am gonna wait until they are done rather than going by Dinafem / 'Tude estimates.

thanks man. 3 plants in there, under a 250hps dual spectrum sunmaster bulb. I use an NFT system with Ionic nutes, all in a 0.8X0.8X1.6 tent. Nothing big nor spectacular but it's all for personal anyway, so shall do me fine I expect :)

sometimes they take a good few weeks to swell out from what I have seen with other grows. Another grower I know, his buds took a good few weeks then they just exploded and got huge. Just flower them until they are ready, often strains can go a good 3 weeks or something over what the seedbank...
