I had to go to a few different places to get the right inputs for my new tent last week, two hydro places and the local worm castings guy. Wasn't really a problem but I couldn't get it all at one place.

The first picture looks to me like it might be a zinc lockout, which is most commonly attributed to alkaline water. Not as confident about the others as far as that diagnosis goes. I'm nobodies expert though, good luck.
