Yes it can absolutely fuck up your plants, replace it, you’re not going to completely disinfect it by cleaning it. It’s also super bad for you. I’d also suggest getting a hypochlorous acid fogger to disinfect your house or ideally hiring a mold remediation contractor to inspect and if necessary...
