October 20th - Day 30 of veg. Definitely slower growth in veg with the living soil. I started adding ¼ cup of each Bokashi Pro-Gro and Gaia Green veg 4-4-4 to each plant once a week.

On September 13th I had seedlings poking their way through the soil. The above seedling had 3 Cotyledons!

On September 10th I planted the 4 germanated seeds into some orcganic soil I bought at the dollar store to avoid putting seeds directly into my hotter living soil.

On September 8th, I put 5 K-Mintz by Ripper Seeds out of Spain into damp paper towel. I love their genetics but have never tried this strain. 4 of 5 germanated.

Please feel free to comment and/or offer suggestions. I had planned on starting one journal and just putting all of my grows in it. I don't like it, it is just getting too hard for me to find things. I am going to stop posting in my other thread and just do a different journal for each grow...

So other than what I think might be a magnesium deficiency, everything seems to be going ok. Three of the four plants have grown into the scrog net and are starting to fill it.

I'm pretty sure it's a potassium deficiency but just wanted other opinions before I start blasting them with potassium.

I leave my light on. Helps the plant know which way is up. :bigjoint: But seriously I turn one light down and leave it on to avoid stretch when they do poke through. Also it warms my room a little which doesn't hurt either.

Thanks. It's a nitrogen booster or so the packet said. Rye grass and clover. I trim it at about 4".

Thank you for the kind words. So far I am pretty happy with how nicely the plants are looking with this living soil. If this keeps up it should be a good first run for me with an organic-ish set up.

Yesterday I ordered some Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4. 10kg of each. I also ordered a bag of Bokashi Pro-Gro. Ordered from indoorfarmer.ca, gotta love that they will send heavy items for free on orders over $99. Boosted my co² levels to 600ppm. Probably get them to 800ppm by the end of this...
