I wonder if there are any other people growing in my area outside this year. I'm starting to read up on the flowering stages and I'm getting intimidated.

How do you prevent this? Knock on wood, I got no legit disease happening in the garden this year. No powdery mildew or septoria. Is it something a row cover would help?

We're in some kind of extreme drought now at this point. Both the days it bothered to rain, it didn't rain enough to quench, just some sort of moist tease, really. I keep watering away, careful not to wet leaves. Tomatoes don't like that at all but it seems most plants just don't like staying...

I also did this silly thing today. Soleirolia soleirolii, and a few pinches of moss from my front yard. It's my first jarrarium. I'll be interested to see how it does.

Life fucking sucks pretty hard lately but damn the plants look great. All chicks are dead. I had to kill them all, another got sick and I couldn't leave just the one. I grieved the second death of my rooster, the death of my project, and the continued saga of "why in the fuck are my pets sick"...
