The reason you wait until 4 hours after lights off is because that’s when pests are most likely to be out. I run it all the time even in flower. Also there’s less chance a person will be in there 4 hours after lights off.

Just remember to ph to 5.8 and always feed nutrients never plain water and you should do good.

So for indoor it’s all about veg time. The more plants under the scrog the faster you can flip to flower. Where if you have one plant you may have to veg an extra 3-4 weeks. Outdoors is a little harder cause you can’t dictate when it starts flower.

The person I know that tried it claims they got more plant material in the hash vs regular ice water. They added the dry ice in small pieces and waited for the bubbles to pretty much stop. Of course this is all anecdotal. Just be sure to be in a ventilated area or outside like they were.

lol yea in a controlled environment it makes carbonic acid which will change the acidity of the water. It also produces carbon dioxide gas which can kill you if not properly ventilated.
