no harm in trying. but why not hedge your bet and grab some NL5 from AG or Dinafem or ... if your ancients decide not to pop you have something that will work. certainly curious to know f you do get some going. good luck.

try bonide captain jack's dead bug brew. i used it for the first time a few days ago. i had thrips, spidermites and caterpillars running around my outdoor grow. 3-4 days after the spray and there is STILL zero bug activity. plant leaves took a beating from the bugs, but plants still otherwise...

thanks for response. i have intent to spray again in 4 days to kill and eggs or larvae i missed last time. i gotta say i have been pulling leaves for a few days now and see zero insect activity. i am cool with that. never used this product before, but kinda like it now. just wish i had sprayed...

i usually go out there with a magnifying glass. rip spotty leaves and look at them thru the glass. can usually see bodies if there are insects on them. ok. so no residue. got it. thanks

don't think i have had the displeasure of meeting thrips before. this is indicative of the damage they do? (i thought it looked like spidermites)

does capt jack leave residue at all in your experience? most of that damage is after spraying, but i have scoured the plants looking for any sign of live bug activity. i don't see any. kinda baffled by this one. maybe the poison is still doing its job despite the insects munching? that's why...
