    I can't tell if inder all that new growth is a plant that was ready. But it looks like a lock out to me. You've not given enough information though to diagnose. 8 weeks isn't a standard finishing time, despite what breeders might say

    This is a guess but if they've been accustomed to low light levels and then slapped straight under intense light levels they maybe in shock.

    I'm a big fan of drain to waste coco as its forgiving. Though I am technically Recirculating. But one hydro system is much the same as another. They all involve well oxygenated nutrients. Forget about aquaponics and aeroponics. Too many points to fail.

    With a light that emits lots of radiant heat (hps) 72f is OK. With one that doesn't (LED) 78f is where I'd be aiming , even more in veg.

    Probably more heat stress if it's high 90s. Leaf edges curl up and stomata close to slow transpiration down when it's really hot.
