I'm not saying people shouldn't use ro for hydro and I'm sure it would help if dialing everything in for perfection but imo it's not necessary for either soil or hydro.

Personally I don't think ro is necessary for either. A tall boy is all I've ever used for soil and hydro. Yes you get more control over what exact nutrients are in the water but in both types of hydro I've done ro was never necessary and the plant took what nutrients they needed.

Thanks! Nope, not missing anything. No air stones in the buckets and no more air stones in the main 55gal reservoir either. The water gets changed every 6 days and it gets aerated like a waterfall twice every 3 hours. Once when it transfers from the 55gal drum to the control bucket then again...

Definitely not growing iced grapefruit inside again, it stretches way too much and has grown into the lights multiple times already. The White Widow X Big Bud is doing much better for my indoor setup. Much more even canopy

Yes No The 220v connects directly to the controller it does not have a plug. 220v cord is Grey directly to breaker in the panel. 110v cord is black and has a regular 110v plug already installed.
