Law in my state is Handgun Permits should take no longer than 30 days. The soonest I have received it was 90 days(that's the norm)the longest was 6 months. Comfort has nothing to with it, law is no longer than 30 days. Only one town that I lived in did it within the 30 days.

Who are you selling it too? A properly Licensed individual? I think not... No clue what state you live in but sounds like the wild west. In my state when I sell a handgun to someone I must fill out paper work in triplicate, one for me(seller), one for the buyer and one for the State.
