Controlling tent environment - how are you doing it?

I dont trust the devices sensors, and they are not usually positioned in the right spot to read. Plug the heater onto a controller. Get a better result doing so. Edit: The picture i posted has a sensor so it will turn on and shut off the heater based on temp readings, and can be set for a day...

Controlling tent environment - how are you doing it?

I have 2 of these. 1 for exhaust and 1 for heater. I can set a certain temp for certain parts of day, ie daytime/nighttime. They kick on automatically. Been working like a charm. When a power outage occurs, the settings get stored so i just have to go in, adjust time, and hit go.

Controlling tent environment - how are you doing it?

I have exhaust fan and heater set to temp controllers to auto turn on and off at preset temps and time. Also have dehumidifier set 55-60 and a humidifier set at 45-50 to help keep RH in check. Seems to work alright.

    rDWC getting worse

I use two of these for a supplemental heater and carbon filter exhaust to help cool. Kind of helps "automate", and not rely solely on temp gauge of heater... Works pretty good and regulates where i want the environment to be.

    rDWC getting worse

I have to use a space heater to supplement, especially in the winter. Less than ideal, but your plants will thank you for it.

    rDWC getting worse

Can you get your air temps higher? When i switched to LED my growth was stunted and had problems as i was low 70's. Got the temps up to 80-85 and a lot of issues went away.

    rDWC getting worse

What are your relative humidity? I would get the temps up to about 80-85 with LED.

First time hydro. Leaf coloration and blemishes help

Gotcha. I use LED too, and found 82-85 works better for me. Have to use supplemental heat to get temps up. Also use a humidifier as my normal RH this time of year is below 30, below 5 when outside temps get into single digits.

    first grow hydro

With LED lighting you need to get your air temps up to around 82, and humidity in veg around 65. Agree with others for lowering ppms until the are a bit bigger, then gradually bump up.

    hello, please evaluate the system

Well i usually don't comment on set-ups as i am far from an expert. My concern would be how do you plan on gaining access to the ones in the middle should you need to? I do 4 stations in a tent, and that can be a pain to get to the back sometimes. What is your plan and end goal with this set-up?

Plastidip will work. I used that on my yellow lids. Creates a nice rubber surface barrier that wont flake.

    Heater options for grow tent

I too had issues with heat. I put a heater in the tent that is controlled with temp sensors so it will kick on when temps dip, if the get to high the fan kicks on to vent out through carbon filter. Keep in mind, when you add a heater, the relative humidity will drop. Similar to your house in...

    Ro water

I use a 35 gallon tote and a toilet bowl float switch. Works like a charm. Edit: it was a brand new float. Fresh from the package. Never used before. Lol.
