Yeah I'd agree with that. It definitely seems like a strain on the ground floor of rec. I personally feel like it was better before somehow. Like the first couple times I tried a cookie strain it was pretty good but for a few years now it's code for pretty but not that strong.

I agree more and better pictures would help, especially in this area. If it's what it looks like I'm going all in on damping off. Dark weak stems are another hallmark. Over watering and damping off go hand in hand.

Damping off isn't a seedling thing or a cannabis thing even, it's a plant thing. It's a disease caused by fungal infection killing plants. You're sort of correct that older more vigorous plants can be more resistant to it but it's not just for suspectable seedlings.
