Is there optimal amount of light that you can give for photoperiod plants? 18/6 to 24 hours? And when to swap?

The whole discussion is pointless as mentioned already. Yes it technically doesnt need a dark period but how many people run 24/0 through veg? A few. And all of us who have done it tend to remark it doesn't seem to offer much benefit...a little faster and a higher electric bill. DLI..yes...

DLI comes from the Sun, fool. The sun doesnt light any plants 24/0. Neither does any grow op. Nothing I said was wrong. I didnt mention max DLI. You have arguments with yourself weirdo!

    Seeded flower.. Help please

Some of the best weed in the past was seeded. Many strains will seed themselves at the end. Likely you have more than 1 seed but unlikely it is loaded. Usually you can see more than 1 if it is bad.

Is there optimal amount of light that you can give for photoperiod plants? 18/6 to 24 hours? And when to swap?

You are trying to be technical and missing my point. The sun, outside, defines everything you do indoors. It informs everything about what to do and why. Nowhere on this planets surface does anything grow in 24/0. It "could", as proven indoors, but it doesnt. This is the natural state of...

    THC gummies

Hi I am going to make my first batch of gummies. I have read a lot and eaten several thousand but am not sure if MCT oil or coconut oil is preferred. Are the digestive issues with MCT significant? Any input is appreciated, recipes, favorite techniques etc. I plan to use bubble hash.

Is there optimal amount of light that you can give for photoperiod plants? 18/6 to 24 hours? And when to swap?

Of course there is, and there are studies for everything else too. What doesn't exist is a perfect guide that guarantees you a perfect result. And no study integrates every facet. That is why you go to experience...people have done this long enough to tell you what works. Just like I can...

Growing has been going on a lot longer outdoors than indoors :) Probably some tips in nature there somewhere

Is there optimal amount of light that you can give for photoperiod plants? 18/6 to 24 hours? And when to swap?

The reality is your growing skill will influence the result more than which cycle you choose. When you become really good at this, you can do any of them. The closer to 24/0 you veg the more growth you can get, but the increase from 18 to 24 is often not worth the added cost in electricity...

Shud I harvest these plants separately?

I would run it another few weeks. Yes there is a foxtail at the very top, the rest may be normal as it is a SSH and can go on and on. I would decrease the lighting by about 15% to reduce the stress at the top.

Yofumo -- how soon until they release their proposed $360 tabletop curing unit for hobbyists?

I think it's less sinister, they simply pull everything early to maximize profits. That's the muted flavors imo along with the dryness they go for to make sure it doesnt mold. It never had the flavors you can create. They could do it but cant make enough profit for the extra time invested...

When do stop the tie down LST and let her grow?

Only remove pieces of bondage if you want to, say to get it to grow up towards something. You will have to tie it up repeatedly as it gets heavier. The plant even when trained wants to grow vertically at all times.

where to check trichromes to decide harvest?

The difference imo is like the scene in Kill Bill where Bud (!) explains that all swords must be measured by the Hattori Hanso swords...once you try them. The chika scissors have 2 elements that arent in others - 1 - super sharp. I cant even use Fiskars anymore after the chicks. The other...

    Help with identifying the issue

Although I stand by my thoughts that it is overwatering (not enough time between waterings here), I find the easiest way to add K in small amounts is to use Neptunes Harvest Seaweed ( 0-0-1).

Without a pic Herb, the simplest answer is that soil or medium got on the bud. That is exactly how it would look if you rolled a bud in soil and shook it off.

    Help with identifying the issue

Picture 1 is highly suspicious of overwatering. The curl of the leaf is exactly what happens along with apparent deficiencies.

Sounds like humidifier deposits or soil/perlite. All it takes is for them to come in contact with the sticky pistils.

Self made drying/curing machine. Did some one has one?

Bud will lose 10% or more thc a year, and terpenes will fade also after 6 months or so. That isnt to say it cant be good still after a year but nobody in my 30+ year experience ever thought year old bud was as good as fresh. If you suffer from cannabis paranoia it can help a lot to cure it...

Self made drying/curing machine. Did some one has one?

You showed us the machine you built but not how it is used? More details would help. I find an air conditioned space with a triggered exhaust to work well and is very simple.
