  1. Farmer's Hat

F3 Valley Ice. (Matanuska x SFV OG)

Here is quite little update on the cutting for male #3. Its still producing some pollen sacks. A little slow growing compared to the purple male, but then again both of the fathers were very different in size and vigor. By the looks of it, both males should provide at least a dozen cuts once...

New room / tent problem solving

You could set up a small intake that draws in warm air from the house? Or set up a heater in the lung room.

    Looking for best Haze/Pure Sativa

Are you referring to the concept of Terroir? Terroir (/tɛˈrwɑːr/, French: [tɛʁwaʁ]; from terre, lit. 'lands') is a French term used to describe the environmental factors that affect a crop's phenotype, including unique environment contexts, farming practices and a crop's specific growth...

Is my auto revegging!? Whats going on?

It looks like its still flowering. Kind of strange looking flower formations, but its not uncommon. There are some strains that have twisted looking leaves when they flower.

    Not Another Grow Journal

Nice. Curious to see the results.
  7. Farmer's Hat

    No Side Branching

I usually top the plant once it has 8 mature leaves. They always end up nice and busy. Only a few plants (mostly Haze strains) need to be topped multiple times during the grow. Lst helps also. Your plants are looking good. Nice turn around.
  8. Farmer's Hat

F3 Valley Ice. (Matanuska x SFV OG)

I checked the first round of seeds, they are solid and grey. Approximately 2 more weeks before they are fully mature.

2024 outdoor show an tell anything an everything outdoor is welcome.

Halfway there. PNW Greenhouse grow. No problems this year. Its been an easy grow. Good genetics helps win half the battle. F3 Valley Ice (MTF X SFV OG) This is a shot of the rare purple pheno that popped up out of nowhere. Currently have a mother of this plant and I plan to create a sativa dom...
  10. Farmer's Hat

    Trailer Park Blueberry

You could take a cutting and reverse it. Hit it with coloidal silver and make some fem seeds. It seems like a strain worth playing around with. This video covers the basic info on how to take a clone and make it produce feminized seeds.

We have a strong community here. Welcome! What kind of grow do you currently have going? Any crossbreeding experiments?
  12. Farmer's Hat

    Trailer Park Blueberry

Good consistency in genetics. Sucks that no males popped up. It would be a great pollen donor.
  13. Farmer's Hat

    Trailer Park Blueberry

Haze plants should be topped excessively and LST, when grown indoors. The stretch is no joke. Lol I have a crazy idea that might work. What if you turn the plant sideways and make it lay down? You would have to make a temporary cover for the pot so that the soil doesn't fall out. :bigjoint:

What other Sensi Strains are you holding?
  15. Farmer's Hat

Is this looking on track going into week 6?

Sprinkle some blood meal on the top soil. Ive seen plants darken up in 3-4 days after the initial top dress and watering. There are lots of low cost options for blood meal everywhere online.

    Auto vs Photo

Thats freaking insane. Thats the first time I've seen autos look like monsters. Do you remember what strains those were? Also, how long did it take to finish?
  17. Farmer's Hat

    Regular seeds

Ive also seen growers pollinate clones that are about 6 inches and in dixie cups. That could also be a simple and controlled way of making some seeds. Take cuttings from a male and female. Keep them small, flower them and let them cross pollinate in a different space, not in your grow...
  18. Farmer's Hat

    Blaze & Daze

Sounds like a freaking nightmare. First outdoor grow I did in WA, most of the plants had to be cut down early. Many of the strains flowered late. I then learned how to force flower hoop houses, working with C4 farms, down in Little Rock. Its amazing to learn from growers who have decades of...
  19. Farmer's Hat

    Blaze & Daze

Good pest resistance is hard to find in most strains because they are bred indoors. I grow indoor and outdoor. The strains I breed outdoors always develop a strong resistance to pests around the second and third generation (f2 -f3). Its a hassle finding strong outdoor strains.

Ive been doing this for a solid 15 years.
