    My perpetual grow - discussion

I know, I've been told the same thing by many people. I've even helped someone with their coco grow when they were out of town and thought I was getting the hang of it. I was initially doing daily waterings but the coco just stayed so wet. I know you don't want the coco to dry out, but I'm...

I NEED TO STOP VERTICAL GROWTH

It probably won't help you much at this point, unless you are able to do it immediately, but definitely look into a taller tent. After hangers and getting some space between light and plant, 4 feet doesn't leave much room at all. You would probably have to rush every flowering stage and keep all...

    Complete noob gardener

Sup guys and possibly but unlikely gals... I've only ever grown the ganja and maybe one or two houseplants in a window. I finally have some space where I'm able to have a garden outdoors and I don't even know where to start. I have a fenced-off area in my yard that was labeled as a dog run...

First bubble hash attempt.. here goes nothing

I personally like to grind my buds at least somewhat. I get that the trics are disturbed and they break, but I just dump everything including the keif into the mix. I think it's a very time trade off between breaking the trichomes vs the solvent not being able to get to all the trichomes...

How does this look? Is this over kill for a 4x4?

Around 1000-1100 watts, is that correct? I would say, yes. It is overkill. Plants can have too much light, I don't know exactly when that would happen in terms of watts per sq foot. Usually with high quality LED you want 30-50 watts per sq foot with LED. You are around 60-65 if I did my math...

    My perpetual grow room

Doing a completely legal grow (according to the state). I wouldn't post anything online if it wasn't. Still trying to get her all filled up, only rocking the veg closet atm. If you look and my post history you will see dozens of posts asking questions for each piece of the room. Seriously...

What is needed to become a mastergrower? Is the job hard? How do you train yourself to become one?

I would say even if you consider yourself an expert, like ol' bob the builder 420 said, get a job in the industry. Growing on a commercial scale with hundreds or thousands of plants is nothing like growing a couple, or even a couple dozen at home. You have reservoirs that are hundreds of...

    Dab reclaim?

Can you use dab reclaim to cook with? And not have it taste like garbage I should add. I use a honey straw with no water, not a bong. So all the reclaim is un touched by water and its all from high quality wax. I used to smoke it and it did wonders when I was out of dabs. I am happily now I'm...

    Anybody mess with cryptocurrencies?

I use attitude seed bank for my seeds. Was going to pay with a card, but then I saw a crypto promotion. Bought that amount of crypto instantly, paid a $20ish dollar fee to buy it. Ended up getting over $70 of free seeds :)

    Need some coco advice....again

Hell yeah, buddy! I've been confined to 1 or 2 grow tents for years and finally got the opportunity to ramp it up a bit. Didn't hesitate. I have also seen some seriously aggressive, almost unbelievable growth, with coco which is why I'm so interested. With time and errors I'll have some bushes...

    Anybody mess with cryptocurrencies?

I am very interested in cryptocurrencies and have build up a decent amount of various coins. Mainly the larger ones, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot, etc. No doge, fuck doge lol. I wouldn't say I'm an expert but I have a moderate knowledge of coins and whats going on. I first knew about bitcoin...

    Dark areas under trichomes

As others said, there is no issue here. If you want the reason (I'm not positive, just guessing) I would say its probably mostly an illusion because the light is shining and reflecting off the trichombs making the surface beneath appear darker than it is. Or it could just be that the plants...

    Need some coco advice....again

Beautiful plants, they look a bit stretched to me, but clearly, I'm no expert. Still look absolutely great. Also, just because you guys are awesome, take a look at my setup. Still trying to get her all filled up, only rocking the veg closet atm. If you look and my post history you will see...

    Need some coco advice....again

I've never heard once per week, I've always heard daily runoff. Any benefit to keeping all nutes and water in besides once per week? Side note, I am trying to grow only a few big plants. 1 plant per tent ideally. If I am growing 1 plant in a 3x3 do you think a 10 gal fabric pot is large enough...

    Need some coco advice....again

Funny, I actually chose plastic over fabric because I figured the low humidity would have more of an impact. I will definitely try fabric. I am using these nutes because I saw phenomenal results with these nutes from the grower who got me into coco (Who I've lost contact with, unfortunately)...

    Need some coco advice....again

I am using strait coco, no perlite. I read many topics on this exact subject and it seemed to be pretty split down the middle of if it has much or any benefit. Opted for the easier rout of the 2.

    Need some coco advice....again

Honestly, I just hate tap water and don't use it for anything. I use RO water for myself, doggo, and plants. I just feel like tap water with all its chemicals would do more harm than the few good minerals in there. I've heard that the tap water here isn't bad but it leaves tons of serious spots...

    Need some coco advice....again

Leaves are also usually pretty droopy as you can see. I was attributing this to over watering? The pots always seem to be heavy and plenty wet. I have topped and have been doing some lst, feeling good about plant structure. Just not the feeding and watering.

    Need some coco advice....again

Hey guys. Going on post #3 or 4 about coco. I used to grow soil, I really want to use coco. I'm getting better daily but it's still looking pretty rough compared to others grows and my past grows. Going on about week 5, looking more like a good week 3-4 unfortunately. I seriously struggled when...
