Borer hole , the tell tale signs are the sawdust created and expelled from the hole onto the stems or fan leaves.

It's not borers, If they kill a limb it will yellow first. Lots of plants around this year with dead sections right about week 3 of flower. I had it in the bush on plants in holes not deep enough or amended well and lost moisture.
