looking for LED-efficacy-data as complete as possible

Hello men, i know lots of people here like numbers and diagrams, im looking for something that gives me information for all the common LEDs in growlights, in terms of umol/J, also at different currents...sure there must exist something? people just love rankings and "top tens" but i get nothing...

    curiousity about some smd-part on a LED-bulb

Hello men, can somebody tell me what this is? I just discovered this on a 13w 3000k-LED bulb for E27 socket that i used for clones. Pretty much standard household. It looks to me like some kind of reading points? but for what? This is a 220v bulb that costs less than 3eu? edit: besides, you...

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

thank you! Then i think, im set. Dont need any connectors, ill just solder and have shrinktubes. Im not sure how to lay the cables, originally just wanted to connect every positive and negativ, but read in a thread its required to split the load, meaning the amperage, by splitting each pole in...

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

guys, i finally got my PSU...this things are really nice. Holding that in your hand, it really gives you confidence that it wont fail. Just realized they are made in Taiwan..that explains. Thats pretty much Japan/Germany tier product. The panels are on their way from China, ive ordered 6 pieces...

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

nice...i wont buy any aftermarket heatsinks or fixtures. ill fix the boars with aluminum-u-profiles of different sizes. Some with screw, some with heatglue. Ill save a lot of money this way and realistically the boards will never use more than 32-33 watt board power and only need tiny colling...

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

this will be my lamp...already very excited. I would even be able to change the PSU for a 480 somewhere in the future...allthough ill never do it. Spread will be great for anything from 2x2 to 100x100. Still need a few meter of aluminum-profil...stuff is expensive. With everything including...

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

migro did a 5000hour cycle on 3 different fixtures and the average flux reduction was 5% on the LEDs. There are so many good reasons for buying an oversized fixture and run it on lower power.

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

i highly doubt its 25 dollarXD and even if it is, its not in the EU. And i already have some lamps in that "average" efficiency class of app. 2.0.

    Migro Aray Confusion

i have my own theory about the efficiency results now. Shane is very familiar with his own testing methods obviously. Let me put it like that, if you made the measure more accurate, like 64 points of measurement instead of only 16 in th 2x2 tent, im pretty confident the results would suffer...

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

my ELG-240-48-A-3y arrived...i had to send it back, waiting for the AB-3y Version now. It clearly said "3-way-dimming" but the A doesnt have ofc. Seems they got that wrong with the "3y" I will screw 5 quantum Boards together like a big "H"...and at the 2 junctions i will screw on a small 92mm...

    Migro Aray Confusion

seems like at low current/power, the difference isnt that great, but the 301 can handle higher current with less efficiency loss. Im building a lamp with LM281B+ diodes right now...at full power each diode will only consume 160mw. I do think that a pretty good rank/bin there for the Lm301B.

    Migro Aray Confusion

do you have anything on the regular LM281B, without"+"?

    Migro Aray Confusion

hey guys. the question may sound stupid, but does the "LM281B" even exist? i mean without a "+"...i was always like the lm281b+ is an upgradet or slightly refined version of the LM281B...however, on the Samsung website i find nothing about a LM281B....only a Lm281B+ in a dozen variations. The...

ok seems nobody ever had problems, ill forget about it. I think even HLG doesnt coat their Diablo boards. At least it doesnt look like they do.

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

well...maybe i can spare the coating. As far as i know, HLG also doesnt use a coating, even not on their very expensive Diablo-Quantum Board Fic wow...he had very good results. Wonder why the Producers claim only 92%, if its more like 98% in this test. Maybe ill order a plate and try out, just...

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

i think acrylic glass is out of the equasion. It claims 92% light trasmission. Thats 8% efficiency loss in the best case. Real glass is hard to find in the right size and expensive. Also more difficult to attach. Sure i can raise the power, but whats the point, im using a lot of LEDs only to...

how to seal a DIY Quantum Board.

Hello there, i already cut this question at the end of another thread, but because nobody answered and i didnt find anything useful in the search, i think ill try it again with another title. Im looking for a product to seal LED-Panels. So far ive only found one product from MG Chemicals, some...
