Need to get a humidifier, but have no exp with them. Could i get some feedback on my choices?

Here's the read out for the past 24 hours or so, and it's pretty typical for most days. And with a pin so you can see the values I'm seeing on the graph: Humidity in the 'lung room' is ~30% so if the fans start pulling, then the humidity will drop pretty well. The temps in the same room...

How Tall should I let me plants grow before I flip the light schedule to flower?

Plan for your plants to stretch once they go to flower, somewhere between 1/3'rd and 1/2 of their height. Plan accordingly. Also though remember you have to account for space between light and ceiling, pot height & distance from light to plant.

Do I need temp swings? Or keep steady temp

Yep. If you can keep your variance to a minimum you're in good shape. It also keeps your VPD steady

    Safest automated watering system

My more recent grows have been hand-watering at 3 or 4 days, this one is more aggressive at every other day...which is about enough for me. If I were doing fully hydro/coco, I'd definitely blumat or other system all the time so I didn't have to put in the hours. My schedule is to mix 24 hours...

    Safest automated watering system

This time I'll probably only be running them for a week or so while I'm out of town. Last time I ran them the whole grow, but I genuinely do enjoy hand-watering.

    Safest automated watering system

I've always carefully removed any visible bubbles and not had problems but I'll try this when I set up early next week and see if I notice a difference.

    Safest automated watering system

I haven't heard this advice. What's the theory behind boiling (I assume before soaking)...

About to set up my Tropf Blumat stuff for a long weekend away. Solid choice... I've run it with Maxibloom & H&G Dripclean for months at a time as needed. I'm in Promix HP rather than coco or regular soil.

AC Infinity Cloudray 6" Auto Oscillating Fan

They're light but that doesn't necessarily mean cheap. Also in a tent situation, light is good. No stress on the poles or the clamp-arm & less wear and tear on the mechanism that does the oscillation. I've only had mine a few months, but so far it's quiet and hasn't had any issues. Though in...

AC Infinity Cloudray 6" Auto Oscillating Fan

I wasn't going to engage on that, but I thought they did, if you needed it to be a stand-alone.

    looking to educate myself

I have mine in original packages in a ziploc bag with some desiccant packs, then in another ziploc bag and in the back of my fridge. Seems to work.

Need to get a humidifier, but have no exp with them. Could i get some feedback on my choices?

With the 69, I have the smart outlet set to trigger with a VPD if it goes over 1.5, and I don't have my heater on the AC-I controller but a separate Inkbird. So what I have going is: AC-I 69 Pro: #1 Exhaust fan (T6) Set to base level 2, ramps up at temps above 84f & humidity above 55% #2...

AC Infinity Cloudray 6" Auto Oscillating Fan

It'll work with either the 69's and will work with the 67 or the older 'digital' controllers but you need an adapter for the cable. Mine's been working fine for the past few months since I got it.

Sooo do you PH water with Pro Mix or not?

Yeah, I always think of it as a slightly more forgiving 'nearly hydro'...so I've always found pHing the water/feed works best.

    Pay Attention

I assume the point is that you should check your plants regularly and water/feed them when they need it rather than on a schedule? That's a good message I guess.

    How cold is too cold?

What is the heater you're using? It doesn't sound like it's up to the task... If it's staying in the 60-65 range where your tent is located, you should be able to increase internal temps. I'm using a 400w heater on an Inkbird in a room that generally is 60-65f and it has no trouble keeping my...

My buds are still small and I’m in week 12 of flowering

Get rid of the low wattage blurple and upgrade to a better light. Work to get your plant environment temps in the 75-85 range.

    Regulars again

I seed in 3/4-gallon pots then transfer into 5g bags. That gives enough rootspace that you theoretically could get them big enough to sex.
