Did I go to far with trim ?

I have to use the garage for all of mine that is why I developed the trashcan and bags. Stuff was simply drying way to fast. Once things start to firm up while hung it is time to get it down and start to slow things down. That is usually day 3 here. Then another 5 to 7 days of can and bags to...

Did I go to far with trim ?

Now comes the really hard part to get right. Dry and Cure. It is hot and dry come fall harvest in Southern California and all that great smelling weed was turning to shit and the jars when opened all smelled like lawn clippings and smoked like swallowing live flame. Harvest after harvest was the...

Oil making- more then the buds?

It comes down to how strong you want your oil and how much oil you want to eat to get high. I toss the trim in the trash as I already grow more then I can use. Shake all the Bud to Hash / Kief and use only that to make capsules from and toke the rest. I haven't smoked or made bud-based oil in...

    Pine smell I'm so sad.

Dried too fast and too deep. Dry fast and it stinks like a trashcan of mowed lawn clippings. Dry past 55% and it will smoke like swallowing a flaming sword and never cure. ================= Lazy and copied from elsewhere A

    First time grow

Powdery Mildew is a given outside but simple to stay on top of. High PH water will disrupt the cells and dry and kill the stuff. 1 tablespoon of Sodium Bicarbonate (household baking soda) to 1 gallon of warm water. Drench spray once a week seedling to harvest. Caterpillars in flower are your...

First harvest now learning how to dry

Southern California gets a fall weather condition called a "Santa Ana Wind" when stone dry desert air is blasted over the entire basin and out to sea pulling the humidity into single numbers for days and even weeks at a time. It never fails I have most of my fall harvest just trimmed up nice and...

First harvest now learning how to dry

Trim that while it is seconds after cutting when all the leaves are standing tall and easy to mow off the lumber. Once sticking to the buds the dried crumbed leaves are stuck for good. If you cut carefully, they all have a built-in hook. Dried below 55% it will never cure. Snapping stems is way...

Give me a link to my next PM spray to try

1 Tablespoon per gallon of water. Drench spray. All this does is make high PH water. Kills surface PM. Weekly application is what I do outside as PM is a given working in the great outdoors. Household baking soda (Sodium bicarbonate) can be used as well. Same 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. No...

    Fastbuds turns purple

Since we are coming into summer and temps raising you won't see it again until fall when temps drop enough. I grow photoperiods outside year-round in southern California. 4 Harvests per year and 2 sets will show purple if the genetics have it. Some go full purple and some just a partial purple...

    Reveg vs replace.

She will reveg on her own under natural outside lighting in summer. As the oid bud sites explode with a dozen new shoots each start thinning them down to get her in a more natural shape as left untrimmed a reveg plant is a huge thousand headed medusa of a plant.

    Just tried edibles

That is rare indeed. Out of a couple of hundred people that I know have tried the Hallucinating Hash capsule recipe only one had issues like that. We tried changing every part of the recipe. Base oils, Lecithin types. Leaving it out. We finally reached the conclusion it was the 11-hydroxy-THC...

Those who edibles do nothing to

Get one (or 2 if your distrusting) of the little stand alone oven thermometers from the gadget section of the supermarket. They are only $5.00 and good insurance. The Toaster Oven I use is off 80 F low. Set it at 320 and you actually have 240 F inside. I didn't believe it so I bought a 2nd...

Those who edibles do nothing to

Powder is fine.. 10 to 20% of the Oil volume 1 tablespoon Oil = 1/2 teaspoon Lecithin. 15ml of Oil to 2.5 ml of Lecithin. You don't have to be that exact. The Liquid Lecithin I use is like molasses and I just eyeball a drizzle so long. Decarb 1 gram buds 240 F for 40 minutes uncovered Grind to...

all harvests smelling the same or very very similar

You want to stop the dry at 65-62%. Below 55% and no cure can happen. Run some Sulfur in your Soil / Mix. Malted Barley Powder 1 tablespoon per plant per week the last month to finish. Stuff is like steriods for Organics.
