    coco fabric vs plastic pot?

I think 1 gallon fabric bags would be best. Way cheaper than air pots. You will need a way to elevate the bags from the drip trays though because like Rurumo said, you don't want them sitting in that waste solution. I hang my 1 gallon pots from their handles. It makes emptying the drip trays...

Drain to waste in coco coir. Automated watering systems anyone?

The programming is in C++. Python probably would be a better choice but I just go with what I know :) The waste solution can be pumped to where ever you want. I just route the tubing from the drain pumps to a jug that is outside my tent. Thanks for the info about Grand Master Level show...I'll...

Drain to waste in coco coir. Automated watering systems anyone?

Yeah, I did all the programming. One other thing I didn't mention that it does is automatically drain the drip trays once a day. It wouldn't really make sense to sell the scales separately because they integrate with the controller and are meant to work together. Yeah, it is expensive. But if...

Drain to waste in coco coir. Automated watering systems anyone?

I haven't checked the rates here yet, but at another forum they were just out of my budget for the time being. I would like to get there at some point though :-)

    Fertigation manager system

Thanks! If there is a demand for larger drip rings then I would absolutely look into producing larger sizes.

Here is a short video of the drip rings used in conjunction with a gravity feed set up. Click here for YouTube video.

    Fertigation manager system

Electrician...but a wannabe engineer :) I will test it out at 3 PSI using gravity and see how it works.

    Fertigation manager system

Thanks friend :) I'm working on an expansion that will handle 8 plants. One other nice feature is that each of the plants can have it's own nutrient solution recipe because each station has a dedicated feed pump.

    Fertigation manager system

Yeah, the drip rings will work with a gravity system in soil. They work best with around 10-20 PSI if water pressure

    Fertigation manager system

The Fertigation Manager is in a totally different category as the above product. I'm not saying the carrot kit isn't good, but can it be set to fertigate at set intervals? Can it always maintain the recommended 15-25% runoff that most drain to waste media requires? Does it empty the drip...

    Fertigation manager system

Thanks for the response. Does the trolmaster have any way to measure the runoff? How much does that system cost?

    Fertigation manager system

Hey, thanks for responding. Your system sounds good and must be working well for you. Can you accurately control individualy the amount of water each plant gets? I guess maybe I didn't word my first post well enough. My goal was to create a system that adapts automatically to the plants changing...

Really...No one has any thoughts? Here is a screenshot of the app and a picture of the plants elevated above the drip trays and scales.

    Inline Diaphragm Pump Question

You could control them manually with a switch, or automatically. I have mine controlled by a microcontroller and set to drain the pans once a day.
