Thank you for this thread!! I just started my first LED grow. I have always used HID lights but I have reasons for needing to go LED. Anyway, I have a 2x2x5 SF tent and one 1000D. I had been thinking about getting a 2nd especially for flowering. My decision is now made. :bigjoint:

I would think most growers are getting feminized seed. I can only see geneticists wanting male plants. So unless you’re into taking risks of getting males or worse pollinating your girls. I choose not to play that game. I have never gotten a male plant. And neither have hundreds of growers.

I have just started my 1st LED grow. Feeling it out to see what comes. I have no choice were I am. My landlord pays my electric bill and HID/HPS would be very noticeable and I only have a small tent 2x2 so I would need a much better cooling fan and a bigger tent.

I have smelled weed that was severely over dried and cured incorrectly. Smells like hay:spew: But, I have not heard tell of complete terpene lock out.

That is the weirdest fuckin weed I've ever seen. :lol:

3/8 Day 7 Girls were getting stretchy. So, I buried the stems with fresh soil, I also lowered the light. I have never grown with LED and I was concerned that any closer may have burned 'em. But I think I may have been too cautious. I now have it about 12" from the plants. About another week for...

See all white hairs...these are pistils. Notice they are growing out of a calyx...the only place they grow from. Their purpose is to gather pollen from male plants. They serve no purpose to a plant that has no calyx. Nor, to my knowledge will a plant have them without a flower.
