So you spread RTV (blue?) inside of the PVC fittings (Tee's and elbows ect) then insert the PVC and it adheres a solid bond w/ no leaks? That's cool. You don't use purple primer or cement at all? ..Am I understanding this correctly?

Yup. Question: So in essence, you do not have the hole so tight as to where you litterally "screw" these fittings in right? They are a loose fit, as to slide in. I ask bc attaching two buckets (screw in method) is hell because as you attach bucket #2, bucket #1 unscrews, as it's already cemented...

That's only like 6 gallons rt? The roots will take up that whole bucket easily..

What size hole saw did you use for your 2" diy bulkheads?

2-3 months of veg in rdwc? You are going to have a jungle....rdwc veg is so fast. I'd love to see pics of 2-3 months of veg in rdwc, without a doubt.

Great info...so roughly 21w per sqft is good enough? I've got 2 hlg600's (620w) over a 5x10 that I'm building and I've been learning that's still not enough & 35-40+ w/sqft is a recommended for LED's.

Ecoplus quieter than the rest? I've been looking up how to make them more quiet...hanging by bunji cord, ect...But I think the first step is start w the quietest of the "cheaper" air pumps first, then work outward from there by trying to make it more quiet.

Those ET 80's aren't cheap either...around $190. Top of the line, no doubt. Nice

Yea,,I thought I read somewhere that they were stronger (& quieter) than your average pump and should not go the number. Hence the higher price.

I bought all of my PVC fittings from Supplyhouse..elbows, valves, Tee's ect. I spent $219 compared to $525 at Lowe's, HD or Menards. I'm all about shopping around..that prolly why my builds take a while. I also use conduit fittings instead of bulkheads..saved me hundreds on that as well.
