    Killing the Middle Class!

Yes, corporations are people too, right, Romney? Except they can't go to jail when they break the law, and their losses are socialized to the rest of us (while keeping gains private). Makes about as much sense as the grammar in the Second Amendment.

    Killing the Middle Class!

Reducing wealth disparagement will turn the volume down on nearly all our other problems. - Raise tax rates on the wealthy (not to accumulate, but to motivate true trickle down). - Strengthen unions (bargaining power for labor). - Nationalize health care (health care should not be for-profit...

    RO necessary for me?

250ppm is getting closer to potential issues. At that point it might depend on what exactly those 250 parts are made of - you could be 100% fine, or it could be a slow train to disaster. Check out this thread: https://www.rollitup.org/t/calcium-carbonate-caco3.1066970/

Biobizz Indoor Pack vs. GH Flora Series Tripart

It seems I neglected the tongue-in-cheek icon! I'm not going to wade into this debate with any level of seriousness.

Biobizz Indoor Pack vs. GH Flora Series Tripart

Simple? Hassle-free? You've come to the right place! Follow a simple soil recipe (there are lots of good ones). Look for the ones that have success behind them and rely mostly on peat, EWC, compost, and perlite. Then get a quality dry top-dress like Jobe's, Epsoma, or Gaia Green. Right...

    Fascism and the Republican Party

Voting for Trump while fighting extremism is like drilling a hole in the bottom of your boat to get the water out.

Worm castings and plants with nutrient burn

Yeah, I could be wrong, but it looks like a few different lockouts going on at once. Combined with the droopy leaves, I'd say a pH issue. I stand by my initial advice, which, even if I'm wrong, will only help.

Show us some photos of what they look like now. Also, are these plants all from seed?

Worm castings and plants with nutrient burn

If it's a living soil and your tapwater falls within those ranges (<200ppm, pH 6.0-8.0, no glaringly bad contaminants), then I would strongly recommend to not pH the tapwater and just water straight out of the tap. I wouldn't (and don't) dechlorinate - but that's not a big deal either way...

Worm castings and plants with nutrient burn

Is there something wrong with your tapwater? If you have access to tapwater that's decent (less than 200 ppm, no serious contaminants, pH between 6 & 8 ), just use regular tapwater with that peat-based soil. The organisms in the Recharge will take care of the pH for you. If you are manually...

    SIP thread -- (Sub-Irrigated Planter)

Finished March 18th, hung to dry. Trimmed and jarred today, 11.6 oz. altogether. Very different smokes and highs. Which plant's genetics I'll work as yet undetermined, but I have my early favorites. Next run: Lucky Lime. Roots are just getting into the reservoirs. Will veg another week or two.

    Should I harvest?

It will definitely need to receive nutrients before it's done (it's not close enough to ripe for water only). Unfortunately, I know jack about bottled nutrients.

    Should I harvest?

Definitely wait! And maybe a while after you get back, too. You want those white pistils to darken and recede before considering harvest.

    Organic silicone??????

Vermiculite is a source of silica. It takes a bit to break down and become available. Using actual dirt can also provide silica, depending on the dirt.

    Cant get ph to drop

Sure, but it's not the pH causing problems. It's the solutes. https://www.rollitup.org/t/calcium-carbonate-caco3.1066970/

    Cant get ph to drop

Well, nine times out of ten folks who come on RIU who grow in soil and chase pH end up creating problems where none existed. To put a finer point on it, for the one out of ten who doesn't create a problem where none existed, chasing pH in soil is a lot like using an umbrella on a dry day. Now...

    4x4 vs 4x8

I am running the KS5000 in a 4x4. It it a great light for those close mylar walls. I run a duct and place my fan/filter outside the tent. I use tower fans. I flip four photos to flower promptly. If you're running four autos, depending on genetics overcrowding shouldn't be a big problem. Be...
