Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

Isn't that graph from hemp production? just saying seen it shot down online a bit as old info. Anywqay in the end I was originally just trying to push the point of dropping nitrates at the end ie. flush without dropping out Ca by replacing the Cal nitrate with cal chloride or cal sulphate...

Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

Loading was just a stoned wrong way of describing it by me, i am far from an expert. Calcium seems to play an important role in plants, it can enhance the uptake of a lot of other minerals within the plant as well. Pre harvest applications of calcium are not knew to the agricultural industry...

Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

Josh has been open about his methodology for a while now, only recently they ahve come out with the fertilizer of there own. He was very open with his own recipes and what ppm of different elements he targets in solution. It does seem to be taken down though since he started selling his own...

Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

I don't disagree, seems nitrates at the end lead to more chlorophyll which isn't that great for smoke in the end. Yeh I have followed josh for a while. My own salt mix is based upon the recipe he released and targetted ppms he had on his instagram before they came out with his fertillizer...

How often do you use silica personality

AFAIK should separate the biostimulant like effect from applying MSA from the possible benefits of adding silicon. Seems to be cheaper ways to get that same biostim like effect from what i've read.

In that circumstance the point of cal chloride is it an readily available form of calcium without the nitrogen. I'm not gonna begin I have the same scientific knowledge but from the commercial cultivators / agronomists i follow they seem to think it is to help with rot towards the end of...

Flushing before harvest is Bro Science!

I think people talking about flushing over the years have really meant to drop Nitrogen towards the end of flowering. Switch out calcium nitrate for cal chloride or calcium sulphate!

How often do you use silica personality

I work with aiming for 20 ppm of silica in my nutrient solution from a concentrated potassium silica. Anecdotally I have noticed a more stable res, but that is also because the nutrients I use end up being quite acidic.

You can follow his insta according to him he was doing some consulting work but has now exited the game and has jsut taken down most of his content. Do any LED fixtures produce an HPS-like color?

Yes different types of heat will effect the leaf surface different. As a general rule of thumb the leaf temps are generally 1 - 2 degrees celsius over ambient whereas LED will be 1 - 2 degress under ambient mainly due to IR differences. Also heat from leds is drawn out the back of the fixture...

what is the most efficient DIY LED build today?

What's people fascination with max efficiency? I'd rather focus on better spectrum personally. Also i'm pretty sure those max umoles/J ratings are done with the LEDS underdriven as they become more efficient then. So not all that useful. Unless your running hundreds of these lights a little...
