I'm a homebrewer and I use something called Powdered Brewery Wash (PBW) I use it to clean all my glass. It works better than alcohol on hard to reach areas. It's food safe and can be bought at all homebrew supply shops.

It looks like your plant is hungry. Looks like a Nitrogen deficiency. Do a search on this board and you will find similar pictures. If it was me I would feed it. But go easy on the nutes since you have not given it any. Other than that it is looking good.
