I really don't know anything about kelp meal. I was turned on to sea crop by an organic farmer who had high praise about it. Along with the organic soil he/I use no other nutrients are ever needed at all. The soil is pretty expensive but well worth the disease and pest resistant plants it...

I use this. Super good results. Definately increases yield. Big , strong, healthy plants of all kinds. Look it up.
