my cross of Skywalker OG x my Widow at 41 days veg,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,day 58 right before flower
week 8 flowering in a 4g hempy, almost ready.
I usually get a nice foamy tea with molasses, a microbe powder called Stump Tea, and DrEarth
If you don't strain the tea it's a tea topdress double shot.
1 tbsp should be a good starting point, you can always add more next topdressing if the plant looks like it needs it.
A half cup each Malibu...
Dr Earth has been my base nute and tea for 12+ years now.
If I make a 5g bucket I use a cup if I brew a gallon I use 2-3 tbsp 1/4c max.
I amend my soil and very seldom need to topdress, and as far as top dressing 2 tbsp per gallon of soil seems heavy to me.
That's almost a cup for a 7g bag...
I've been using Pittmoss (recycled paper/cardboard product) as a top mulch and it seems to be helping with the gnat situation too.
It's supposed to replace perlite, and you can mix it in with the soil after a run.
I've made mulch topper bags (2 per plant) of it an 1"+ thick using 5g paint...
nice journal. I ordered a bag of the Dynomyco yesterday. Looking forward to trying it out.
suggestion for watering. I use similar plant risers and I drape a strip of an old grow bag over the riser and down into the water to wick from the bottom. It's worked pretty good so far. Simple SIP.
Yes 2 ltr and if I remember correct the piping is 1" thin wall and a piece of that goes in to the top of the "T" and the caps fit into that small piece.
I used Peters 20-20-20 for nutes.
this isnt the same site, but has similar plans using 3/4"...
yes, it's bent up for some reason, it's normally pointing down to the reservoir bucket and the green hose does the flooding via a small submersible pump.
I left a small strip unpainted for monitoring the water level
When I used it as a drip system the green hose was the drain.
You might like something like this, I've used it as flood and drain and top feed both worked good. (20+ yrs ago)
Easy to build and adapt. I haven't tried it for weed yet, but I think 12/12 from seed would do good.
I think I found the plan at the hot pepper club.
I like the net sac idea. I've been thinking of something similar. I'm considering turning an old grow bag or paint strain bag uspide down using it the same way over the top of the pot. A paint bag with a small hole in the middle and put over the pot may accomplish the same thing you are...
SIP fed with wicks the whole grow. 2g Black Gold Organic with 2 strips from old grow bags for the wicks.
Fed with Blue Planet 3part high yield about a quart every day or two 3 times and then plain water, repeat.
My own strain Puta Blanca at 7 weeks.
I've never seen it as a liquid, but I've used the powdered Uprising line with great results, one of my tastiest most aromatic plants.
I've used the roots Buddha Grow and Bloom along with Trinity with real good results.
