Definitely a must. Early in veg the plant is requiring higher humidity levels consistently. Just make sure you have good air flow. I kept my humidity at 70% first 2 weeks. Then 65% for a month of veg. 40-55% during flower. Less and less humidity as time gets nearer to the end

I use Co2 bags..., yeah they are extra shit to throw ABOVE your plants but i use them. I've done an ass ton of research on them and yes they work. One 5lb bag will last me half a year to a year. A lot of ppl hate on them, and to them i say , to each their own... Have fun with co2 bottles...

Just dont let humidity drop below 50%. The buds will be drying faster than they should under 50% , and then you are sacrificing quality to smoke asap... Takes patience during the drying process. I am thinking the light as well, thats a lot of stretching, but sometimes its the strain. Also something i do as time goes on, is add more dirt to level off the planters. I dont know if it really effects the plant noticeably or not, but i try to cover exposed roots
