How much longer on this frosty beast

This always feels like a guess to me. I don't have much experience, but this is one of the things that I am trying to improve on. Alex, I'll take "plants that have 10-14 days till harvest" for $600. Cheers, WillieP

2nd grow first time at doing a bit of lst

With photos you get to choose when they go into flower. That can be literally from the time a clone has roots, or you can let a plant veg for 3-9 months and grow a massive tree. I grow in the Scrog method, so training is a big part of that. Not at all difficult. You are just forcing it to grow...

Where And what do I prune ?

https://www.growweedeasy.com/low-stress-training-lst https://www.growweedeasy.com/defoliation These two articles should answer the questions you have. This is a great site setup in a tutorial format, I would like to suggest you spend some time there checking it out, it will improve your grow...

2nd grow first time at doing a bit of lst

I would go for something like this. I also would not recommend topping an auto, it can be done, but as a new grower it may cause you troubles. Good luck with your grow. Cheers, WillieP

Lighting options for a new grower

Maybe this will help. https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-grow-lights I recommend that you spend some time in that site, it has some great info. When you learn what you can from there you will understand more of why you are getting the type of answers you are in here. Just trying to set you...

    WillieP's World

So there has been some activity in WillieP's World. As I mentioned earlier, I am trying to go with 4 individual plants all staggered 35-40 days apart. That meant I wanted to have individual Scrog screens and thought it best to have individual flowering lights as well. I used my same strips...

    WillieP's World

Oh no LG! I hate it when that happen! That recipe that I posted I have made 3 times and they have turned out great each time. You really have to be careful when bringing it up to temperature, and stir continuously, but that is the same as making any of that type of candy. I've also been making a...

    Too many bud sites?

I agree with @Fordprefect42. ^^^^^ Not trying to sound negative, but you are right, there is some health issues going on there. Looks like they are hungry, at least for N, but I'm pretty new and grow in hydro, so hopefully someone more experienced will chime in. I have been recommending this...

    Is this ready to harvest?

Really easy to harvest to early. Really hard to harvest to late. Be as patient as you can. The last couple of week are when a lot of the bulking up happens, making your patience worth it. Some will advise going by the color of the trichomes, some will just look at the plant as a whole. For...

My first grow, my many errors and some questions

I hear you!! LOL I started in hydro, BUT...I did six months of research before I ever started a seed. That pic was just before harvest of my second ever grow. It can be done, but a agree that you should probably get a successful grow under your belt before jumping off the deep end like I did...

My first grow, my many errors and some questions

That picture was of a plants final home. No moving from that location! I grow in a modified Ebb and Flow hydro method, and it is completely different than growing in dirt. Only one transfer in this method. Starts out here: Ready to move... To here... Lives here... Until she gets the ax...

My first grow, my many errors and some questions

I'll start by saying "Welcome to RIU"! And I'm the type of guy to read the whole post, but I am also not experienced enough to help with you questions. Sorry. Just a word of caution with your attempt to up-size using fabric pots. I grow in a totally different method, and encourage the roots to...

70 watt HPS or 100 watt CMH Flower week 4

The 100 watt CMH bulbs are commonly used in a little bit older, (pre-LED) outdoor building wallpack lights. https://www.grainger.com/product/LUMAPRO-Ceramic-Metal-Halide-HID-Bulb-54EP79 Renfro, I would love to someday try these as naked bulb vertical side lights if I ever grow that style...

anyone wanna show off their Illinois grow!?!

I just stopped by cause of a @JimmiP invite. This is the plant that I just harvested not long ago. Gorilla CBD, listed as 7% THC and 14% CBD. Only my second harvest. I was pretty happy with it. Definitely still learning. If anyone would like more details, my grow journal is...

Samsung 2ft F Strip for side lighting build.

Apologies to the OP, not trying to hyjack your thread. I'm guessing the S is series, and the P is parallel, so if there are 16 current paths @1400mA I would have 87.5 mA though each path. Is running that much current with the aluminum plate I have acceptable? Just trying to learn. Thanks, WillieP

    Flushing: really necessary??

I believe you mean trichomes, not terpenes. That's a pretty safe question. They will want pictures of the whole plant, of the buds and the trichomes. Good luck! WillieP

Samsung 2ft F Strip for side lighting build.

I gotta be honest, some of that went over my head. But I did hear "pump it up to till 1400mA or more", I take that to mean I should be good to go. Thanks, WillieP

Samsung 2ft F Strip for side lighting build.

That's good to know, thanks for the tip. I'm actually going a little different route with the heatsink thing. I have access to some 3/16" (4.76 mm) plate aluminum and will be using it. 24" by 24" with holes drilled for ventilation. No clue if this will work well or not, but the aluminum was free...
