Bottom line is you desperately need watts. HID will be the cheapest you have 88 sq. 88×40 (W per sq ft.) You need at least 3520 actual watts.

This light you are looking at is GARBAGE. Check out some of the DIY LED stuff that seems to be a good place to save a few bucks. HLG has some kits

Green board is sheetrock made for bathrooms so that is fine I'm sure. But heavy duty glue down linoleum is 100%water proof and very durable. Epoxy sounds good but I am not familiar with this application although I can do anything for sure.

It's kind of a piece of crap light but it says it puts out 400 watts so it should be fine for that space actually 3.5 feet x 3.5 feet is good for 400W.
