Personally I'd either thin or cut all the branches to allow airflow. I recently finished a small 3 five gallon plant grow. I cut all branches and used my screen to hang the branches from inside the tent. AC Infinity fan with humidity and temp control worked like a champ for controlling my drying...

I have the 4 inch flange that is 15 inches or so tall. I've got three runs threw it. I got the filter from a former grower who ran it for 3 runs all those and its still going strong. I think new they are less than $150 for the one I have referencing a website that sells them.

Can filters are expensive but well worth the price. I always have questioned the prices of the other products available and wondered why they could be so much cheaper.
