Does Spraying Neen Oil on Cracked/Exposed Stem Prevent Infections?

Right. My understanding is that it doesn’t. Atleast I’ve never heard of it used that way, but rather only used to treat foreign invaders externally, both pests and mildew/fungus related issues. But the plant is really resilient. Broken branches will generally heal themselves with a little...

    Blaze & Daze

Happy Monday, everyone. Back to work… A friend lent me his rosin press last week. A cheap dulytech, but I’ve got new harvest to play with and I am sold. Starting to dive in and I see there’s a lot to learn, lol. Something to read about during bored moments and breaks at work.

Does Spraying Neen Oil on Cracked/Exposed Stem Prevent Infections?

If you know, then why are you asking. I’ve seen neem used to treat issues like powdery mildew. Never as an antiseptic for a wound, but I may easily be wrong. Good luck to you.

    Some type of deficiency

Looks pretty good. I wouldn’t worry, especially since you’ve added some nutes. But that looks like an old leaf that has been sucked dry, but wouldn't concern me.

    Some type of deficiency

You should show pics of the rest of the plant. Important to see other growth and her current stage of development.

Does Spraying Neen Oil on Cracked/Exposed Stem Prevent Infections?

Neem is an insecticide, not an anti fungal. I’d also use neem lightly and not at all once flowering starts. Tape up the break and provide some support if needed, and she’ll likely fix herself. Neem had nothing to do with it last time.

Looks really nice. But why wash an indoor grow? Serious question.

Republicans — fighting for all the wrong things

“Christians, get out and vote. Just this time. You won’t have to do it anymore, you know what? Four more years, it’ll be fixed, it’ll be fine, you won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians.” Donald Trump, July 26, 2024

    Lockout?

I’m not familiar with Sohum, but I expect most cannabis plants will have used the available nutes in a five gallon container within the first few weeks, after which you’re well served to add more. That’s certainly true in my experience using fox farm soils. Lots of people love the Gaia stuff. I...

    Lockout?

Lots of possibilities, and people who know more than I do may weigh in. Nitrogen toxicity will often be accompanied with dark green leaves, which makes me lean away from that diagnosis. They are likely hungry and you should be adding a fertilizer for flowering plants at this point, as your...

Recommendation for small oil filled heater?

Yes, it has a dial for heat level (though not a thermostat that shows actual temp) and will kick on when it gets below temp. I’ve left mine on for entire grows; doesn’t need to work too hard in my 3x3.

Weekend is almost here! Here’s a pic of a plant cola that just won’t stop foxtailing. This one is beer can size. May have to bring her down soon. Heavy on the branch for sure. Hope everyone is well!

    do these look far off

Looks a few weeks off, likely. Lots of white pistils still, and they can brown and recede a bit more where that’s begun. They look great and should swell up quite a bit more. Don’t look at the trichs on leaves. These turn amber well before the ones on calyxes that you can start looking at when...

Whats going on with my females

I would not put vinegar in your soil, other than using a little as ph down or whatever. The white mold you describe is not necessarily a bad thing when you’re working with living soil. I’d repot them also, as someone else suggested. They will use up any nutes in the soil very quickly. Good luck.

Happy Friday! I’ve been wondering about the shelf life of BTi. I have some that’s a little over a year old now, though I question whether it’s working. I’m at the end of a grow so less worried about the gnats, but they’ve been keeping busy for sure, despite fairly recent treatments.

New Grower - Is this normal?

Ok, thanks. Not to be too negative, brother, sorry if that’s the case…but these are seedling lights, for starting plants rather than flowering them. I don’t think they’ll generate enough light for effective flowering. Also helps explain the stretch in your plants. Can you move them outside for...
