    Ttystikk's vertical goodness

Hey ttystikk, I'm thinking about going for the 72v chips. Am I correct in assuming your wattage is double the sheet you attached earlier? That your 72v cob at .7 a is about 44 watts? In your experience, is it unreasonable to run the cobs at 60-70 watts? I'm only picking up 4 or 5 on the...

    Ttystikk's vertical goodness

Are you still going with the CXB 3590s? I'm about to place an order with Jerry for 4 CXB 3590 3500k 36v, 1 HLG-240-1400 or 2100, and lenses.

Thank you both. It's under control for now. But hopefully an ounce of prevention will be worth a pound of cured. TTY did you go through KB or cutter?

    Ttystikk's vertical goodness

TTYS, Why'd you choose 72v vs 36? I'm about to take the plunge on the cxb 3590s. Also, what do you use for a foliar preventative pesticide/fungicide. Do you have any experience with Zero Tolerance? In the first few days of flower, I sprayed once with neem. Since then, things have...

    Help choosing a heat sink

Hey All, What size heat sink would I need for a single cxb3590 run at about 62 watts? My plan is to start with 4 COBS run on a 240-1400. I'd like the heat sinks and cobs to be separate, so that I can adjust their placement relative to each other. Do they make a dimmable 240-1400? I will...

Payne Farms / Soldiers Co Op 2016 garage grow

@pappayne, A few questions about pm: Can I make it through flower with some? Early in my grow, PM broke out. After using green cure and neem and increased air flow, things are much better. What strains are good for PM? Is there anything I can do with my soil or foliage feeding to help...

Can someone point me in the direction of the BEST eyewear? Preferably, a few data points would be great. High, medium, and low price, but all of sufficient quality to help stop whatever is going on with my eyes. Thanks,

CXA vs CXB, 3070 vs 3590, CXB vs Vero

Can someone break it down, or point me towards a thread that does? Thanks... For the sake of discussion. Is it worth it to get the CXB 3590s vs 3070 or vero? How long would it take for the CXB 3590s to pay for them selves? Thanks.

    CXB3590 1500W

Thank you grouch, So in series the 240-1400, 1.4 a and 179 v) would run 50 watts to 5 lights, and maybe a bit more to 4 lights? At 1.4 a that's 142 volts to 4 lights, and 178.5 volts to 5 lights, right?

    CXB3590 1500W

Thank you GI OG, I'm going to check again, but I don't remember seeing a HLG that runs above1400ma. Am I mistaken? I tried the medium and coarse amp ranges, but no other data came out. Can anyone help me figure out what I did wrong, regarding how to use that page? Thanks.

    CXB3590 1500W

After looking at the tent, the 45 degree COB fixtures may be single strings of two COBS, fixed 15 inches apart. There would be 3 walls of vertical growing with the 45 degree fixtures. I have 4 15 inch bars with 100 watt Lohas cobs to work with on the sides. WIth the 3590s driven at apx 60...
