I guess I will just adapt to their needs and changes and feed then when they're thirsty instead of trying to keep them on a tight schedule.

The thing is I know by now how light my pots should feel when they need watering (I'm in smart pots btw) and they are still remaining fairly heavy on watering day when before they would be super light. So the soil is retaining water, telling me that the plants aren't transpiring as much.
