You can drill through aluminum with a regular drill and bits, it's a soft metal. Mark your drill spot with an awl first. A drill press will just help making more accurate and straight holes...and probably speed things up. Check out the square aluminum along with the angles. Both will work but...

Yeah it's an AC power monitor made by Bayite (16 bucks on amazon). They also have DC but I'm more interested in the AC numbers.

I like grams per square foot personally. The problem with g/w is that the less light you use, the higher the number it will be and the lower your bud quality will be. I ran only a 180w PlatinumLED in a 3x3 and easily came in over 1 g/w. There were a couple good buds under the light but...

@tekmunki definitely share those configs if you can! I got homeassistant up and running last night but haven't added the sonoff yet. It found my chromecast and plex server right away though! Can't wait till I have more time to get this all set up and dialed in.

Yes absolutely, I have a TH16 with temp/humidity and use it turn on humidifier on or off. Turns on when it drops below 40% and off after it goes over 42%, all configurable of course. You can ALSO set a schedule along with the sensor values. So you could set it to 40-42% during lights on, but...
