lightly scouring the outer husk of seed with nail file or sand paper. it helps stubborn or old seeds pop..

very true I personally bag them put in mason jar and in the refrigerator and ive been fortunate to have great germ rates. looking into scuffing the seeds or soaking them should help germ %. good luck happy growing.
