Very little pollen goes a long way, if you have very little circulation from fans and you can pull it out and look it over vigilantly( only a small plant, wouldn't try with a big plant easy to miss one on a big plant) then it can be done if you have the time to devote for inspection.

You add cal mag last? I've always heard to add cal-mag first. If you add it last it supposedly binds to other elements and can precipitate out of solution. Only thing I add before cal-mag is silica.
