You are over thinking. If you want to trim roots, get a sharp knife and lop off the bottom inch. If you don't want to trim roots, just shake or hit the bottom inch of soil loose. Repot and relax. It won't die either way.

If you punch a few holes in the bottom you have a mini net pot. But I'm not that advanced yet.

That's what I start my seeds in. A jiffy pellet fits perfect. I have a BC big but that's been in one for about 2 months. Clearly, the big part of that is a joke.

The bottom inch would be fine. The process genuity suggested is fine. You just need enough room to allow new growth in flower. And quit adding root stimulants. Just pot her back up, give a day or two for recovery and flower.

It's a weed. If you trimmed back the roots and put sand in the bottom, It will still grow. It's not rocket science. I would try to use the same soil I started in, but that's just years watching granny play with her plants back in the day. You will be fine.

If you must use the same pot, trim the roots and add more soil.
