I don't know if I have a good approach, but I am not using these apps to get good readings. I'm looking for relative readings. If I calibrate my app/phone to detect PPFD at what product reviews and/or the manufacturer rates the output, then I can get relative measurements at different heights...

So turns out powdered agricultural gypsum is water soluble and makes sulfur readily available to plants. Easy peasy win win.

My leaves did the same thing. I turned down the light and it kinda helped. So I raised the light. That fixed it (but it took a couple days to effect). I even turned the light back up after raising it. I was using the TSW2000 (really only 300W).

I bet you have too much calcium which is locking out multiple other nutrients. Lay off the calmag for a feeding or two and watch new growth for issues.

Depends on your situation. If you're using soil, you will water an adult plant to 10% runoff when the soil is mostly dry. So when you do water, it will be a lot--but you won't very often.
