If the heat sink fan references a cpu, you can usually find the heat dissipated. Most are over 50 watts which works for us

sounds like it only dissipates 20-30 Watt, does your led generate that much heat?

I suck at drawing but i think he is saying to attach the fan perpendicular to the ceiling, not parallel to the ceiling, this way the distance you need for the fan, about 3 cm, will be saved.

I am not an expert, but when i read those fan specs it seems like you will need a laptop charger at 12v to get the starting voltage you need.
