Phillips Elite Agro 315w T12 CMH in open fixtures - Impressive!!!

thats what i like hearing! i got my lec 315w on the 8th. that tent is on day 55 today. i was going through checking trichomes and definitely noticed much better density then i have ever had before. even on my sativa dom pineapple fields the lowers are rock hard.

LEC Sun System 315W CMH/Philips Elite Agro 930 - Virgin Flowering Run

many, many, many people have been cutting the lowers to benefit the tops for years. there's plenty info out there on it. i do the same as you with my lower buds, they go right into the trim bin. i'm enjoying a very nice fruity pebbles og tincture that i finished up today after a 60 day soak...

    Can the XGS-190 Replace a 600W HPS?

you flower a 5' x 5' plant under a light with a flowering footprint of 30" x 30"? even in your pictures, there is no light penetration from the middle of the plant down and that's a pretty whispy saty.

LEC Sun System 315W CMH/Philips Elite Agro 930 - Virgin Flowering Run

i'm not talking about top colas. i'm specifically referring to the lower, larfy, popcorn nugs. led so far has shown me no comparison. i'm still not sure why more led user don't cut off all the lowers so the tops can have all the energy focused on them.

LEC Sun System 315W CMH/Philips Elite Agro 930 - Virgin Flowering Run

nope they aren't but i still haven't seen much for density with other leds either. at least not anything that cost less than $2000.

LEC Sun System 315W CMH/Philips Elite Agro 930 - Virgin Flowering Run

    Can the XGS-190 Replace a 600W HPS?

that's less then i would pull in my 3x3 with a 400w hps. though better canopy management definitely would have led to better yield on that run.
