An aside, but imo, CNN is no better or worse than the rest of them - partisan and divisive. I literally canceled cable because I could not stand to see a minute of cable news any longer. CNN was the prime driver of my decision. Awful stuff. Between the advertisements, anyway.

Watered three plants that needed it with a little BTi for prevention. Added 1/4 cup of Dr. Earth top soil before watering. Did some very light trimming and lots of tucking. Just noting the BTi for myself, really.

A lesson I’ve learned from observing here this year: If you’re a new grower, keep it simple. You can kill a plant with too much good intention!

Organic grown food is well established to have advantages in flavor, healthfulness and environmental impact. Lots of research out there if you want to find it. edited to add: also accepting that many of the oversights of organic food are highly flawed.

Because your plant is topped, I think it’s early to be trying any LST. I would wait for the two new nodes to get long enough, then tie those down in opposite directions to clear the middle and let new growth from those branches shoot up. Untie those fan leaves though, imo.

Many people recommend starting feeding with about half dose to see how the plant reacts. I don’t use this nute line, so less informed there.

Warm is good. I run my lights 24 hours during veg (and sometimes during flower with autos). Just don’t blast them when they pop up. They don’t need much intensity at first.

I use a long plastic pipette for that purpose, dripping the water over and around where the seed is. Generally use that till they have a few leaves.

That’s where the larvae live, which is why you need to soak the medium. It’s not ideal - seedlings don’t need that much water, but it’s necessary here. If they haven’t sprouted, or even if they have, add the water gently. But saturate the medium.

In my limited experience, the DT needs to go on dry soil, or it will just absorb the moisture. My approach was to add new layers after waterings, and after the top layer had dried out. Ultimately, you’ve got to kill the larvae, and only the BTi will do that. Other stuff helps control the adult...
