Small update. Repotted into some light and fluffy peaty stuff, mixed in a generous amount of drainage. Haven't been able to find a decent pH meter yet. Still got some yellowing going on, roots looked nice and white! Thanks so much for your help so far guys.

Thanks for the responses guys. Yeah I was told that I had over watered it, so then I let it dry out... ha :( Okay I'll get a pH meter and some better soil for repotting. Is peaty soil okay? Or should I go to a store and buy some special stuff?

No, I use water from the tap and I don't measure the pH as I have no means to do that. I bought a cheap soil measuring device but it doesn't do the job. I'll be getting a bucket to put my water in so at least I can let the chlorine dissolve a bit and minimise that aspect. I'll have to repot...

Thanks for your response! There's a lot of woodchip in there, I'll have to wait until I repot to sort the perlite / woodchip ratio I think. Everything else looks okay? I'm thinking the lack of significant growth and the yellowing of new growth over the last few days is from a lack of watering?
