Waiting a 16x2 display and button kit then I'll have everything to start - got a 5v/3a PSU to run it all. Set 3 variables (start time, day length, dawn/dusk minutes) and the code is virtually there - display will allow me to box it all up...

Yeah, looks like version 1 - will still do all I'm intended to do, I was just gifted the Pi from a friend.

Just started work on a single channel LED light control that will include dawn and dusk fades... Got a digital potentiometer working that fades 0 to 100k under code control. Found it much easier to understand than PWM.

Should also say the 4 four plants entered the tent as 8 cola manifolds - 1 week of veg then monster cropped in half, vegged for 2 more weeks then flowered...

Green House Seeds Lemon Skunk. It's for personal consumption so have no interest in "bag appeal" - I'll take what ever I can get. As I only have a 60cm square tent I'm pushing them to fill the space... Canopy...

Never grown this strain before - it is their first 2 weeks of flower, so it's just that stretch... They've started to set flower now an growth has stepped down... They are also regularly manicured - trim off fan leaves a they cover potential bud sites. The canopy is pretty packed.

14 days after lights went in - see picture in previous post (8th Oct) - pretty sure the plants are loving the new light! :clap: :weed: (:

Just bought a 16x2 display/button kit, real time clock, 2 x mains relays and a digital potentiometer. Bought a small kit of breadboard, wires, resistors, transistors etc. to help with prototyping. Will report back how much luck I have building. I used to be a programmer using a now dead...

Currently have a 100k analog pot wired in - I want a pot that I can change the resistance of programmatically so the microcomputer can control the dimming...

With you on that - happily divorced! Have a look for some Adruino sensor kits out there - lots of different sensors to play around with...

Arduino, I know has built in PWM dimming, but you then need to add additional hardware to step up the PWM signal to 10V for Meanwell drivers. Could I use a X9C104 100K digital pot instead? There's a library available and that little device gives a range of 0 to 100K ohms in 1k steps (taps). I...

Thats what I want too - this is a personal use grow, so the more I can get the longer I don't have to go buying inbetween grows...
