Cool your room not your lights. Putting glass between a bulb that produces that much UV is also working against yourself. I will never recommend air cooling lights.
You split the lights so they are 2 rooms running 12/12. Therefore there as always lights on. It helps by allowing you to spread power out.
The more lights in a room the more yield from overlap. so yea spreading them out does affect yield slightly.
I run my veg room at 86 degrees 75% humidity, 1300 ppm co2.
Flower room starts at that and slowly starts ramping down to 77 degrees 50%, 800 ppm co2 by the last week.
