    what the fuck

I'll go ahead and jump in. From my experience with red cup growing, both cannabis and tomatoes/peppers fruits and vegetable starts etc, root rot is not an issue. I've had tomatoes reach fruiting while in red cups and have no signs of root rot or related issues. As long as your medium can...

I've asked a few times for suggestions, and while I would love to follow up with those and order a nice led unit from a reputable company, my funds are all but tied right now. What i do have, is a $50 amazon credit, and i have been browsing various led bulbs/fixtures that are available on that...

Watering from the bottom up. (wicking)

This soil is from a 6 year old farm. It get's worked and re-amended every few months (crop rotation). The batch I have came from a mixture of beds that had, brassicas and flowers growing. I compiled it after we had pulled the bed(s) and we worked them. My plants only get Vegan Compost Tea. I...

Watering from the bottom up. (wicking)

One plant did very well with this as was able to absorb most of the compost tea. The other three did well, however I drained the buckets and top fed the remainder as I did not want to leave them sitting in water through lights off.

Watering from the bottom up. (wicking)

I'll let you know how it works out. I have four plants that are each in one gallon plastic pots. I am watering about once a week, and having resistance from the soil to take up water. I decided to try and bottom feed, and let the roots wick up the compost tea as they would like. For each...

Vermicomposters Unite! Official Worm Farmers Thread

All the portions that I am not able to comfortably digest go into the worm bin. 11 months in and I have it stacked four trays high, and the worms are actively navigating both up and down. By now, the trays are entirely filled with soil/castings/vermiculture. No covers, just moist nutrient...

I know the leds and other components will not be the best, but for the overall investment on my part it's worth a go. He makes full spectrum led lights and fixtures for aquariums If that helps?

I met a guy who makes led fixtures. What spectrum should I ask him to make the mixture of? I can choose any blend I would like. I'm not sure how many leds he will build onto th fixture or how many watts it will be, for now i would just like to know the best spectrums to tell him to use. Thank you

    Club 600

I just got a 600w set and can install it in this evening. I've always had this edgy anxious feeling about running a hps or sodium light. Something about the heat of the bulb and the overall safety. (Comparative to what I have been doing, cfl/led) But I now do have a 600w set and can put it up...

So, if I wanted to have fun, and diy, and invest $300-500 (I guess, or more?) into a custom LED fixture would I have cheering and support as I go for putting together one of the most epic LED Light fixtures known to exist? If I'm going to construct a fixture, it's going to be a monster. Nom nom...

Just a quick reply, before I can really respond thoroughly, I noticed that the 2015 a51 will have 10w cree leds. Dependant upon relase date, it may be a wise choice for me to wait for it's release? As I said, I will reply more later this evening, a good amount helpful info here. Thank you
