    Heat problems 2000watt grow

I understand now LOL. Thanks so much again for all your help. If I ever meet you one day, you will be paid or rewarded handsomely. Here's some pics of the babies/current semi-wonky setup. Still under t5s. Added an eye hortilux t5 UVA/UVB bulb today (just one stand-alone four foot) because they...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

20-30% rh asking for pm? What would you say is acceptable then, in your opinion? I freak out and usually kill the entire plant if I see the dreaded PM. It's literally plant EBOLA. It spreads like wildfire. Would you say to drop it even lower? like 10-15%?

    how cold is too cold

Botrytis wouldn't stop spreading indoors. Not worth it. Yes, it would slow down, but as the plant matures, trichomes turn amber, start falling off, and then bud rot kills the flowers on the plant. It's the cycle of life.

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

Thanks so much man. Any ideas on flower to produce not so much humidity? Just lower the fan speed? Does your setup produce so much humidity, that you don't have much problems sucking too much moisture out of your tent? I like the fogger idea for veg, I just need to figure out a way I can keep...

    how cold is too cold

Could always chop her halfway through the night if she's ready and if that's an option. Or you could move them closer to a building if possible. Water holds warmth really well, so make sure your root ball isn't too dry. You're still going to want to protect those tops if it's in an open area...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

Thanks for the excellent info!!! I was wondering if you could give me tips on helping me increase my humidity for my tent space. I'm moving a decent amount of air, and will be moving even more with the HPS running. I'm worried the room will get super dry. What type of humidifier do you...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

amazing grow setup man!!! I bet your finished medicine is absolutely phenomenal!.... lol. My 6 inch dustshroom came in yesterday, so I have my 8 inch exhausting now and my 6 inch as an intake. It's 78 right now with the AC set on low fan and 73 degrees but only under two two foot t5s (one 4...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

Ok, here's a few pics of the girls since hooking up the 8 inch exhaust. I have it turned it a little less than 1/3 down, but still waiting on my 6 inch dust shroom for active intake. The 8 inch dust shroom wouldn't fit over 8 inch ducting nor an 8 inch flange so I sent it back for a 6. I...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

Do you think a Hurricane 745 CFM will be compatible with a thermostat? You are so right about the humidity. Good point. It gets really dry here and I think too much airflow would drop the humidity too low and close the stomata. This is my first grow anywhere other than a humid, temperate...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

My room the tent is in is a bit too small for that. So until next year, when I buy the window AC instead, I won't be able to do that. Plus I would have to buy a separate fan for the carbon filter. It's getting cooler every night. My LIGHTPROOF 8 inch ducting finally came in yesterday. I'm going...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

My fan sits pretty nicely against the reducer. Do you think i NEED the self-drilling screws? Or do you think plenty of aluminum tape could hold? it's only supporting about 2 foot of ducting at the most. But for air pressure, I'm thinking the aluminum tape by itself should be ok? What do you...

do pots have to have drain holes

Great looking girls!!! Keep up the good work! Glad you could get those holes drilled. Happy growing. We are always here to assist. Yes, hydroton is great to use just a small layer at the bottom of your plant. Stones can work for this too. Gravel should be fine, but I've never used it so I'm not...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

No just Home Depot crap ducting for now, but good idea. Next go around sounds like a must have. I figured since it was so cold here in the winter I wouldn't need it. That's stupid though because all it would do would help me save some money on power, especially with a thermostat or timer on my...

do pots have to have drain holes

3/8 should be plenty big. You don't want it so big your grow media is falling out. Are you sure the "mesh" you're talking about doesn't allow for drainage already? Smart pots are always good.

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

I had the AC around 72 or so. Didn't have it on max fan setting, only on low. Do you off the top of your head, or does anyone have any idea if an 8 inch to 6 inch reducer will attach directly to an 8 inch hurricane fan? Or could you give me a brand that does? Lowes or Home Depot attach to...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

I'm trusting your two cents. I wanted an easy work-around.... I'm not going to chance it. I think I'll heed that advice lol.

do pots have to have drain holes

I would drill the holes if your pot is bigger than 2 gallons and if you plan to flower in those pots. If you plan on transplanting before flowering, just wait until then. A few weeks without drainage won't kill them. I would let your root ball fill out that pot before transplanting unless it's...

    Heat problems 2000watt grow

I haven't posted anything in a few months. Been busy moving/working. Problem: Temperature is topping out in the upper 85+ degree area, despite plenty of airflow and an AC unit. I'm NOT flowering, nor am I using HPS until I correct this ventilation issue. -I have a 4'X8'X6.6' tent with a 6 inch...

can i install a reverse osmosis filter on sink spicket

Look up Reverse Osmosis Revolution. They have filters that attach to your sink. Make sure you get a 5-stage with DI-filter or you won't see anything lower than 50 ppm. The finished H2O reads 0 ppm for me with my Blue Lab combo meter. This is the best value at around 100 bucks, although you won't...

Round 2! 1000W 4x4 SCROG of White Widow!

Looking NICE man! Keep up the good work. LOL @ dropping the scrog screen on top of the girls. I guess it beats dropping and catching in mid air a 2 gallon coco smart pot 8 weeks into flower. She didn't skip a beat (luckily). It will strengthen them in the long run as the plant tissue repairs...
