What type of ballast do you use

I'm using gavita and nanolux double ended fixtures, always battleing height but they work great. A complete nanolux 1000 watt dimmable double ended is only about $350, less if you look for deals or buy a bunch of them at once. Not very ideal for a tent, but I do use one in a 6.5 ft tall spare...

What do you use for soil?

I have a 600 watt unit using 12x 50 watt cobs and it's the 3000k spectrum. It does have a nice slightly yellow color to it, but much more white than hps. The problem is that the higher kelvin temps have much more blue which has a short wavelength, and it strains the eyes. Driving around most...

What do you use for soil?

http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/21/health/led-streetlights-ama/ Googled LED street lights and this popped up, but it seems people are more upset at their cities choice to use 4,000-5,000 kelvin rather than a lower kelvin. That article says that 3,000 kelvin should be the highest color temperature used.

What do you use for soil?

You will want to add nutrients after the first month or so using any base soil, subcools super soil recipe is very hot in nutrients that's why you only fill the bottom half-third of the bucket so the roots don't have access to it until the plant is mature

What temperature can plants handle up to

I live in a climate almost identical to yours and run my indoor lights at night during the summer. Outdoors I've had some success but it won't be very pretty herb I'll promise you that. How cold can flowering cannabis get without dieing or shocking them?

Man I wish my problem was the room being too cold, it's so much easier to fix than a too hot problem.

    Best payment for attitude?

There are a lot of US seed companies that will get you your seeds faster and much much safer. I've always used my debit card but had them mailed to somewhere I'm not growing. If you insist on using attitude you can always go and purchase a visa gift card with cash and use that.

    65% rh flower

This 92 degree 80% number I threw out was in response to mango, who was essentially saying that 92 degrees and 1200 ppm co2 was required for 65% rh, but by no means is that ideal for indoors, that would be a mold fest.

    Humidifier question

Google says that right now it's -15 fahrenheit and 60% humidity in Fairbanks Alaska. The average humidity for the driest cities in the United States is 30% which are places like Nevada and Arizona. Do you live in a can of desiccant? Are you using a quality hygrometer?
