you can put 3 of the Philips ballasts on 1 1000 watt plugged into 1 15 amp120 safely and effectively. When you step up voltage amps go down. It will only draw as needed but as with any electricaldevice there is a bit of loss. Should be in the specifications on the units.

more than likely a packaging error which if you contact Nirvana professionally first and then 0the Tude the same day they will move to compensate you accordingly Although not a fan of Nirvana due to their genetics, their customer service is really great
